Buttermilk Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄3 cups sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1⁄2 cup Charlie's Old Time buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1⁄4 cups mashed ripe bananas

Directions

  1. Mix cream, sugar, & butter
  2. Add eggs, mix well
  3. Stir baking soda into buttermilk, then add to mixture
  4. Add vanilla & banana, mix well
  5. Pour into greased and floured  9×5″ loaf pan
  6. Bake at 300°F for 1.5 hours or until loaf tests done with a toothpick
  7. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
